Hi all, David Horste-Leo Sunshine here. I'm a lapidary artist & Radical Faerie here in Portland and thought I'd share some of my recent phallic bead work in Lapis & oosik and stuff with this tribe.
I figured it was time for me to get back in the groove with my Tribe lists after long periods of lurking. I'm catching up on some of the threads I started awhile ago on several different lists. One of them was about the increase in HIV-AIDS in younger gay men (see below). it's incredible how many people responded to this and THANKED me privately for just talking-writing about the subject of HIV-AIDS! Thanks for all the responses and the discussions it prompted. This is why I love the faes!
To put my money where my mouth is and do what I can in the fight against HIV-AIDS in our community, I have a number of phallic beads in Lapis, Walrus Penis Bone, Fiestaware, and a bowlerite heart up on eBay with HALF the proceeds from their sale going to the Cascade Aids Project here in Portland. The following link should take you to the CAP fundraising page off of eBay and show you my cock rocks and such. Please pass this on to anyone you feel might be interested. They make great presents and the proceeds are split between two worthwhile queer causes, CAP and ME! ; )
