I just picked up several of these from someone who was selling them for making jewelry.
I thought maybe I was just being silly for wanting these but they are so cool!
I don't know about peering through them to see spirits or fairies nor about hanging them from the bead to prevent bad dreams but they really do have cool energy

Re: Holey stones
Sat, October 20, 2007 - 10:11 AMwhat kind of stones? Just regular rocks with holes? Are they crystals? I know nothing about such holey stones, although I have a few crystals with some holes in them. I have a hollow piece of tourmaline and a lot of my etched spesseratine garnets have small holes in them, which I love. -

Re: Holey stones
Sun, October 21, 2007 - 11:40 PMThese are river or ocean tumbled rocks with natural holes in them either water worn or clam carved, very neat.
One interpretation is that the holes make room for magick in our lives, another that the holes can be windows into the mystic realms .
we are finding that they are grounding while simultaneously seeming to enhance our ability to connect and communicate with the spirit realm -

Re: Holey stones
Sun, November 11, 2007 - 8:24 AMI got one too. Found on a beach. It sort of looks like a skull with two eyes and a nose. Only one hole though (eye). I would like to spend some time with it. Looking through might just facilitate a vision
